Hello, my name is Peter J. Reynolds. I am the principal owner of Pacific Global Insurance Brokers (PGIB) and a Senior Partner of Pacific Global Partners. I have
been representing California employers with professional insurance services since 1983. After serving as controller of a business in the Los Angeles area, I created a new venture of helping corporations with the unusual service of discovering overcharged insurance premiums. After reviewing a client's insurance documents, and other pertinent financial data, I would perform the required investigation with the client's insurance carrier(s) and agent(s). Upon discovery of incorrect or improper insurance audit procedures, I would negotiate the return of premium back to the insured. It was remarkable how often I would find money that otherwise was gone with the wind. After a couple of years I was influenced by friends and associates to obtain an insurance sales license. My corporate clients recognized my specialized finance and education skills as innovative and unavailable from other insurance sources. It made sense to become the insurance broker for these accounts and many more that were to follow.
I am a graduate of UC Berkeley, hold a Masters degree in Education, and completed the full course of accounting (CPA-equivalent) as a graduate student at Cal-State Northridge. Since entering the insurance profession, I achieved the nationally recognized designation of Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC). I use a combination of these academic experiences, coupled with many years of business experience, in developing 'Best-Value' insurance solutions delivered with professional courtesy.
